What is a disposable bed sheet?
A disposable bed sheet is a single-use flat sheet of non-woven fabric spread over a mattress, examination couch, treatment table or spa bed to provide a fresh, hygienic surface for each patient or client. Once the visit is finished the sheet is removed and discarded, so the next person lies on a clean layer rather than on a laundered cloth sheet that may have been reused. This simple change removes the cost, time and infection-control risk of laundering, and guarantees a visibly clean surface every time.

The standard sheet measures 100 × 200 cm flat, covering a single hospital bed or examination couch, and is supplied in plain white for a clean, clinical appearance.
Material and weight options
The sheets are offered at 22 gsm and 25 gsm as standard, with other weights available to OEM specification for facilities that want a heavier, more robust cover. The lighter 22 gsm sheet is economical for high-turnover use such as outpatient and examination couches, while the 25 gsm sheet gives a more substantial feel and greater tear resistance for general ward beds and longer stays.
SMS non-woven is naturally breathable, so the sheet does not trap heat the way a film or laminate would, keeping the patient comfortable. The fabric is soft and low-linting, and its smooth surface means it lies flat and is easy to draw out and dispose of after use. For surfaces needing fluid protection rather than just a clean layer, a PE-backed couch roll or anti-slip pad can be supplied alongside.
