Blood Transport Box and Portable Vaccine Cooler
WinHyCare designs and supplies compressor-powered medical coolers for moving blood, plasma, vaccines and medicines between sites. Each model has three selectable modes (2–8°C, -10 to -25°C and 22 ± 2°C) and runs on AC 220V mains or DC 12V/24V, including a vehicle cigarette-lighter socket. Choose the 30L or 80L portable unit for ambulances and outreach vehicles, or the 700L wheeled unit for bulk transfer. Prices are quoted per order, with delivery across India coordinated from our Hyderabad service centre.

What is a blood transport box?
A blood transport box is an insulated container that keeps blood units within their storage temperature while they move between a blood centre, hospital or collection camp. WinHyCare coolers are powered versions: a compressor holds the selected mode (2–8°C, -10 to -25°C or 22 ± 2°C) from mains or vehicle power instead of relying on ice packs.
Is this the same as a vaccine carrier?
No. Vaccine carriers used in immunisation outreach are passive boxes cooled by conditioned ice packs and have no power supply. Our coolers have a compressor and run on AC 220V or DC 12V/24V, which suits vehicle-based transport and longer journeys. Can the cooler run from a vehicle?
Yes. All three models accept DC 12V/24V, including the vehicle cigarette-lighter socket, as well as AC 220V mains.
Which temperature mode should I use?
2–8°C for refrigerated vaccines, medicines and red cell units; 22 ± 2°C for products that must not be chilled; -10 to -25°C for frozen items labelled for that range. Always follow the storage temperature on the product label.
What sizes are available?
30L (WDF-25H30LC, 22 kg net) and 80L (WDF-25H80LC) portable units, and a 700L wheeled unit (WDF-4V700LC) for vehicle or ward use.
