What is a disposable bathroom anti-slip pad?
A disposable bathroom anti-slip pad is an absorbent walk-on mat laid on bathroom, toilet and washroom floors to soak up water and help prevent slips on wet surfaces. It is supplied as a roll and cut to whatever length the floor area, doorway or cubicle needs, then discarded once it is soiled or wet — so the floor is kept dry and safe without the slipping, bunching and laundering problems of a reusable cloth bath mat.
WinHyCare anti-slip pads are a two-part construction: the top is an absorbent PP non-woven fabric that soaks up water, drips and tracked-in wet, and the base is PE-coated to be both waterproof and anti-slip. The PE coating stops moisture passing through to the floor and grips the surface so the mat itself does not slide. The result is a stable, absorbent layer that keeps wet-floor areas drier and safer.
Material and roll format
The mat is a 60 gsm composite — a PP non-woven top bonded to a PE coating on the underside. The non-woven top is soft and absorbent, drawing up water so it is not left pooling on the floor, while the PE-coated base provides the waterproof barrier and the grip that gives the pad its anti-slip property. At 60 gsm the mat is substantial enough to lie flat and stay put underfoot rather than rucking up.
It is supplied on a roll 50 cm wide and 25 m long, in light blue, so a long run of mat can be unrolled and cut to length wherever it is needed — across a doorway, in front of a basin or shower, or along a stretch of washroom floor. Cutting to size means no offcuts are wasted and each area gets exactly the coverage it needs.
Where bathroom anti-slip pads are used
