A non-woven sleeve cover is a single-use tube of PP spunbond fabric pulled over the forearm to keep sleeves and skin clean during light, dry and dusty work. WinHyCare supplies breathable PP non-woven arm covers in white and blue, with elastic at both ends for a secure fit, in 25, 28 and 35 gsm weights, packed 100 pieces per bag and 20 bags per carton.

Why choose this non-woven sleeve covers

  • Breathable PP spunbond non-woven keeps forearms cool during longer wear
  • Elastic at both ends grips the wrist and upper arm so the cover stays in place
  • Protects sleeves, cuffs and skin from soiling, dust and light splashes
  • Three weights — 25, 28 and 35 gsm — to balance economy and durability
  • Available in white or blue, with sizes from 40×22 cm to 40×40 cm or as required
  • Light, lint-controlled and economical for high-turnover single-use

What are non-woven sleeve covers?

A non-woven sleeve cover — also called an arm cover or oversleeve — is a single-use fabric tube that slips over the forearm from wrist to elbow (or higher) to keep the wearer's sleeves and skin clean. It is used in dry, dusty and light-soiling work where a full gown would be excessive but bare or uniformed forearms would otherwise pick up dust, powder, food residue or grime. Worn once and discarded, it keeps cuffs clean between tasks and helps break cross-contamination.

WinHyCare non-woven sleeve covers are made from PP spunbond non-woven fabric, which is soft, breathable and low-linting. Elastic bands are sewn into both ends so the cover grips the wrist at one end and the upper arm at the other, holding it firmly in place during reaching, lifting and handling without sliding down.

Material, breathability and weights

The fabric is PP (polypropylene) spunbond non-woven, the same family of breathable material used in caps, gowns and masks. Because it is air-permeable, the forearm stays cooler and drier than it would under a plastic sleeve, which makes the non-woven cover the comfortable choice for longer, dry tasks. The trade-off is that non-woven is splash-resistant rather than fully waterproof — for genuinely wet work, a PE sleeve cover is the better option.

The covers come in three weights — 25, 28 and 35 gsm. Lighter 25 gsm is the most economical for short, clean tasks; 35 gsm is more robust and resists snagging and tearing during handling. Sizes range from a shorter 40×22 cm to a longer 40×40 cm, and can be cut to other dimensions as required.

Fit and protection

The double-elastic design is what keeps a sleeve cover useful. With elastic at both the wrist and the upper end, the cover seals against the arm at both ends so dust and debris cannot work their way in, and it does not creep down as the wearer moves. The fit is universal — the elastic stretches over a wide range of arm sizes — so one stock size serves a whole team.

Sleeve covers are typically worn in pairs and changed when soiled or between contamination zones. They protect not only the wearer's uniform from staining and wear but also the product or patient from anything shed by the sleeve, which matters in food handling, electronics and clean work as much as in clinical settings.

Packaging and bulk supply

Non-woven sleeve covers are supplied 100 pieces per bag with 20 bags per carton, so a single carton holds 2,000 covers — practical for teams that get through them by the pair throughout a shift. Colour, weight and size can be specified to suit the work and the contamination-control scheme.

Non-Woven Sleeve Covers — Frequently Asked Questions

What are non-woven sleeve covers made from?
They are made from PP (polypropylene) spunbond non-woven fabric — a soft, breathable, low-lint material. Being air-permeable, it keeps the forearm cooler than plastic for longer, dry tasks.
Are non-woven sleeve covers waterproof?
No. PP non-woven is breathable and splash-resistant rather than fully waterproof. For genuinely wet work such as fish, meat or washing-up tasks, a PE sleeve cover is the better choice because PE film is fully impervious to liquid.
How do the sleeve covers stay on the arm?
They have elastic sewn into both ends, gripping the wrist at one end and the upper arm at the other. This seals the cover against the arm and stops it sliding down during reaching, lifting and handling.
What weights and sizes are available?
They come in 25, 28 and 35 gsm — lighter for economy, heavier for durability — and in sizes from a shorter 40×22 cm to a longer 40×40 cm, or cut to other dimensions as required.
What colours do they come in?
Non-woven sleeve covers are supplied in white and blue, which can be used to colour-code by area, task or shift.
Where are non-woven sleeve covers used?
They are used in nursing and patient care, laboratories, dry food handling, cleaning, electronics assembly and pharma cleanrooms — anywhere forearms and uniform sleeves need protection from dust, soiling and light splashes during dry work.
How are the sleeve covers packed?
They are packed 100 pieces per bag with 20 bags per carton, so one carton holds 2,000 covers — convenient for teams that use them by the pair throughout a shift.
Can WinHyCare supply sleeve covers in bulk across India, the Middle East & Africa?
